Objectives and rationale
A detailed survey of the three major commercial pack-houses (Sonlia, Banhoek and Colo Fresh) was conducted to identify problem areas. A small-scale trial to determine the efficacy of fludioxonil on decay control when applied at different intervals after harvest on cold-stored Wonderful pomegranates was done.
